As we progressed through a positive week mother nature played a part in the final day forcing School and Business closures. Hopeful this passes over the weekend and next week is back to normal.
Some key points below;
Sports Personality of the Year 2024/25 – The PE department are beginning to look ahead to the SPOTY awards for this year and would like to hear about all of the sporting success that goes on in our school and beyond. VOTE FOR Pilrig Park, park run! – Some local parents have formed a group called ‘Leith Runs Together’, with the aim of starting a Junior Parkrun in Pilrig Park, from May 2025. Junior Parkrun is a free, weekly 2km run for children (aged 4 to 14), every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. It is fun, inclusive, and a great way to get kids active, plus there will be volunteering opportunities for older kids and adults. The Council has given permission, and the group are on the ballot for a start-up grant through Leith Chooses (local money for local projects). It takes literally one minute to vote – we need your vote to make Junior Parkrun happen! Please vote “Leith Runs Together” before 3rd February:
Once the weather settles, we hope you have a good weekend.
