As we complete our first week back, our young people have returned in a mature and positive manner as they apply themselves to the year ahead. Some important and useful points below for Families;
Mobile phones – The City wide Council ban is now in place and must be followed by all young people. This includes smart watches. This week our pupils have responded positively to the change, thank you for the conversations you have been having at home as this helps significantly. We will keep all updated as further details, such as pouch arrival dates, become clearer. In the meantime, please ensure phones are off and in bags, out of sight, when on the School campus and bring iPads to School fully charged.

New S1 – Our new arrivals to Leith Academy have had a very positive first week. Our S6 helpers remain in place to support them over Monday and Tuesday then they will begin to move around the building independently, with help provided as needed.
