As we enter the half term it has been a very positive start to the 26/27 School year. Thank you to all Families for the ongoing support and guidance you give your young people every day.
Staff return Monday 19th Oct, pupils return Tuesday 20th Oct. Please ensure appropriate Leith Academy uniform is worn from a security and application perspective. Our Leith Hoodie (£18) can be purchased here…..Link https://logoxpres-schoolwear.co.uk/collections/leith-academy
First Aid – All S5 will complete their L6 award on Wed/Thu or Fri next week. Current list and day attached but this may change depending on attendance rates each day (I want each day to be full). All S5 should report to the Games Hall on Wednesday morning 8.30am.
Skills Week – This has been a successful week of raising awareness of the skills young people develop in their lessons and wider learning every day. Our S1 event was very positive with Skills booklets / passports being completed on their iPads.
How To Pass Your Qualifications Info Eve – We held a positive, informative session last night (Thurs) with Families from our S4,5,6. We have a range of supports in place including an extensive study support program. Thank you to all who contributed, our Prefect presenters were particularly well received.
