As we finish the half term with sunshine on Leith it has been a busy week once again, some key points and updates below;
Uniform – We keep this simple for Families, but it is also important for our building security and safety;
- Black Leith Hoodie or plain black jumper
- White shirt
- Leith tie
- Black plain trousers or skirt
- Black footwear
- No hats or headgear other than for religious reasons, to help security
Please take time over the holiday to ensure your child arrives ready to learn at Leith.
Council response time – As ever, Schools are busy and dynamic places. Please allow 5 working days for colleagues to respond to queries, in line with Council policy. Where we can, we will look to respond sooner depending on the nature and timing.
Culture Day – Another positive event this year with colour and vibrancy demonstrating our values, particularly of diversity and respect. There were plenty of photos taken so I hope at some point you get to see them. Well done to Ben et al and all the pupils involved, and to FM for helping post event.
DWF Law Firm – We began our next round of skills for life support work with interviews and business sessions at DWF. Another positive opportunity for those involved.
Netball win – A great performance as we beat Edinburgh Academy 18-9 in a well played match at Leith, another great result for this team on a roll!
Hoping all enjoy the half term break and we will see all back on 23rd Feb as we head towards the Spring term.
