The Edinburgh Victoria Day holiday is this Monday with all pupils and staff returning on Tuesday. Some updates and key points below;
Spring Fling 2023! Our annual spring concert was a great success last night with outstanding performances on the stage and behind the scenes. Well done to all the performers, Teachers and Music Instrumental staff who helped pull together a memorable event.
Formula 1 Car Wash fundraising – Our F1 in Schools Team have won their local competition, they won the Edinburgh competition, they won the Scottish competition and they’re about to compete in the UK finals! To help raise awareness and funds they held a car wash with support from Project 21 Valet, Lamborghini, Police Scotland and Forth FM great shout out listen here . It was a great event raising around £1000 in a few hours. Well done to all and more to come when the final arrives!
Leith Sports personality of the Year (SPOTY) – We are now in our voting phase following the shortlisting of our fantastic young sports people across the School. This is not an easy task but we’re pleased to announce that voting is OPEN for Staff and Pupils across the School. Ms Dewar will keep all informed of the voting process via Key Adult. Good luck to all nominees.
S1 Parents’ Eve – We are looking forward to welcoming our S1 Parents on Thursday evening for Parents’ eve, booking information has been sent out. If you have any questions please email Admin@leith.edin.sch.uk and we will support.
Sports Day 2023! The summer term brings sun, hopefully, and the re-introduction of track / field events. With this in mind our Sports Day is May 31st which is always a great day with youngsters (and staff) getting involved in physical activity…..the added aspect of House points also makes it interesting!
