End of term – We finish for summer break next Friday. Lunch will be at 12midday. Those needing a free packed lunch will collect on the way out. We hope this helps with planning as we enter the final week of the School year.
New Leith Hoodie – We’re a bit late to this party with many other schools adopting this. Following a successful pilot last year with S6 we will be introducing a Leith Academy Hoodie for all from August. The rest of our uniform doesn’t change, this is an additional and optional item that Families may be keen to purchase. PLEASE NOTE the Hoodies will become available on the website from 24th June.
Parents can have the hoodie delivered to School and we will have a distribution ‘handing out’ session at School on August 13th, the day before the pupils start back.

Parent Council raffle last call – Some superb prizes on offer! See flyer below for details. All proceeds go back to helping our youngsters in School.
P7/S1 3 Day Visit – Thanks to all who made this a super event where we got to know our new S1. The energy, activities and positive comments from them indicated they had a really positive experience and we look forward to working with them and their Families in August. Thanks to all the Transition staff who played their part in making it a great 3 days.
Dyslexia Award – We are delighted to have been accredited with a Dyslexia Inclusive School Quality Mark certificate last week. Further evidence of the work we do day in day out to support our young people. Ms Mordaunt has led this work supported by colleagues, thanks to all.

S6 Prom – We look forward to our leaving event to say farewell to many of our S6 this evening at the Village Hotel, 140 Crewe Rd S, EH4 2NY. Timings are 7pm-midnight with a buffet planned for 8pm. We hope all have a nice evening.
