The busy weeks continue with assessments all through this week in a variety of subjects with our youngsters performing, presenting and displaying really high levels of commitment, maturity and desire to be successful – well done to all and we hope this helps you get the outcomes you want / need for your next steps.
Next week – Please note School finishes next week at 3.16pm on Thursday 28th March with a return date of Tuesday 16th April for all staff and learners.
Uniform – Parents please continue to support our uniform policy at Leith Academy, this is designed to be simple and straight forward for all;
- Leith tie
- White shirt
- Black trousers / skirt
- Plain black jumper if required
- Black footwear
We have uniform at School if anyone needs help or support and there is a council uniform grant also available here Free school meals, milk and school clothing grants – The City of Edinburgh Council .
Easter Revision – This is FREE to all young people and places are filling up fast. The deadline is today at 5pm so please ensure your son / daughter has capitalised on this great offer of support linked to upcoming assessments and course completion. Letter is below as a reminder to Parents;
Summerhall and Usher Hall – We had youngsters performing at these fantastic venues last week representing Leith Academy with some great performances. Well done to all and thank you to the staff for supporting from our Music / IMS Teams, a few photos below;
P7 Maths Session – We had a great morning with many of our P7 / New S1 youngsters up at the Academy working through different problems. Some great creativity, problem solving and teamwork skills in action – well done to all and the Maths Team for pulling together.
