Another busy week with trips in London, Ireland, Bonaly Outdoor Centre and Dynamic Earth, with many youngsters enjoying the experiences the trips provide.

Mobile phones in Schools – There is work being undertaken Nationally and Locally around proportionate use of devices in Schools. Edinburgh Council is seeking the views of Parents and Pupils, see links below and please complete to give as full a picture as possible. Deadline is March 2nd 2026;

Bike labelling – Please see a poster from our School Police Officer, PC Patterson. Pupils and Staff can bring their bike in to have it ‘marked’. This increases the chance of bikes being returned to their owner if they are regrettably stolen.

Burns Event, The Queens Wake – See message from Mr Wilson, English Teacher;
The Queen’s Wake – Hibs Tickets and Signed Footballs by Men’s and Women’s First Teams
Tickets for Hibs v Rangers, Hibs v St Mirren, and footballs signed by the Women’s First Team and the Men’s First Team will be raffled at The Queen’s Wake competition on Wednesday 28th January 7pm to 9pm at South Leith Parish Church.
For pupils to be eligible for the competition, you must:
– attend the event in your Hibs shirt to be entered into the draw for footballs
– attend the event in your Hibs shirt with a parent/carer to be entered into the draw for the tickets
– be part of the ‘Hibs’ section of the audience for the evening
Important: register with Mr Wilson beforehand as spaces are limited.
