Uniform – Thank you for all the donations that we have received over the last few months. We are still looking to collect good clean clothing that could be redistributed throughout the school community. We would happily accept donations of the following:
- Shirts, Ties, Prefect Blazers, Black Trousers, Black Jumpers and PE Kit
- Winter jackets
We have set up a donation point at the main entrance of the School (walk through front door and look left).
Bus timetable changes – please see message from Lothian Buses we have been asked to share….
We recently announced a new service change that will take effect from Sunday 11 September. In the change, there are some changes to services and routes that serve the Lochend and Leith Links area, meaning some pupils at Leith Academy may be affected. Please see attached a new route map which shows the route our services in the area will take from 11 September. Also please see a summary of these changes below.
Services that currently operate via Restalrig Road (21 and 25) will now serve Lochend Road, and services that currently operate via Lochend Road (34 and 49) will now serve Restalrig Road.
Service 21 will operate via Duke Street, Lochend Road, Lochend Avenue, Restalrig Road South and Sleigh Drive.
Service 25 will operate via Duke Street, Lochend Road, Lochend Road South, Lochend Drive and Sleigh Drive.
Service 34 will operate via Commercial Street. Bernard Street, Constitution Street, Queen Charlotte Street, Links Gardens, Restalrig Road, Restalrig Road South.
Service 49 will operate via Duke Street, Hermitage Place, Restalrig Road, Restalrig Road South and Sleigh Drive.
These changes in the Lochend area ensure that the local links between both Lochend Road, Restalrig Road and Leith Walk are maintained. Other routes in the area remain unchanged.
