Some key points as we progress through another week at Leith Academy;
Covid19 – Across the country as schools return and restrictions in society ease, there are case occurring. Thank you to all Parents and Pupils for being proactive in telling school and keeping children off, if needed.
Our steps with Coverings, Hand San, One Way, Wipe downs, Distance where possible all remain.
PLEASE – continue to use the home test kits as a way of preventing transmission.

Vaccination bus – Please see the poster below from Public Health to help raise awareness and provide vaccine support for 16/17yr olds.
School Uniform – this must now be worn to School. If a youngster has PE they will get changed using the dressing rooms in PE. Our uniform is kept simple for Parents;
-Leith Academy dark blue tie
-White shirt
-Black trousers / skirt
-Black footwear
-If a jumper is needed, this should be black. Please note hooded tops are not permitted in Science and Craft/Design workshops due to Health & Safety regulations

School Photographs – Our annual School photographers will be coming in on Sept 16th if all goes to plan. We will keep you updated nearer the time.
Parent Council – A positive meeting was held last night (Thursday) with some of our Prefects and staff providing updates.
2 weeks today is the Sept holiday weekend. Have a great one when it comes.
