As we enter the final week before the half term, some key points below;
Post Prelims – We are now in an important phase with our Seniors S4,5,6 as they recieve feedback from staff on assessments over Dec and Jan. This feedback should help them plan the areas they need to work on over the coming weeks and months. There is support through;
-Our after school study program, on our website under ‘Pupil’ section
-Use of SQA Past Papers and mark schemes are extremely useful
-Use of platforms that support study such as Achieve and Scholar (there are others)

Holocaust memorial – We like many parts of Europe and across the World, took time to remember. We had youngsters joining other Schools from across Edinburgh at the Scottish Jewish Heritage Centre.
Inter House Basketball – A superb tournament with some high quality performances on show…..scores on the doors

Happy Chinese New Year – The Year of the Snake. At Leith Academy we are an Edinburgh Council Confucius Hub where we deliver Mandarin lessons in the junior School and qualifications in the Senior School. We will be having various activities linked to the Year of the Snake over the next few weeks, led by Ms Wei Du and pupils.
