Our key points from this week;

Assessment window 2 – Our Seniors have handled the recent assessments with great maturity over this week. We have a few more to complete into Monday and Tuesday of next week. From there the important process of marking / feedback / learner conversation will be taking place to plan for the Summer exams.

S4,5,6 Track 2 Reports – These are complete and can be viewed by Families once you receive your email / passcode for security. The report should form a quick / visual reference for discussion at home on a) what is going well b) what we need to work on over the coming weeks months. We have a full range of revision sessions led by staff, you can view this on our website.

Parent Council – Our next meeting is on Thursday at 7pm. We hold our January meeting online in the event the weather is poor / dark / cold. There will be an email with the link sent to all Families and we hope many of you can join us as we talk through ways to support our young people.

Careers Fayre – Developing the Young Workforce has organised a large Careers Fayre for Leith Academy and other local schools on the evening of 18th February, at Holyrood High School from 4.30-6.30pm. This is the last large fair of this academic year and a great chance to chat about jobs and future pathways as well as meeting many Universities face-to-face. See information below;

 This event is for young people and parents / carers and you can freely visit any stall and speak to those there and pick their brains and also pick up information to support them on their onward journey from school.

All are welcome. If you have any questions, please email me at philip.dickson@edinburghchamber.co.uk

Hoping you have a nice weekend.
