As we enter the holiday weekend, some updates below;
Parent/Carer Partnership Panel – As part of the Council’s continuous improvement, we are creating a collaborative partnership where parents and carers can act as strategic advisors to the City of Edinburgh Council on matters of Inclusion. Their lived experience will help us to shape the policies that ensure every child in Edinburgh can thrive. Our ‘Parent/Carer Partnership Panel’ will begin in the new 26/27 session and will provide opportunities for us to consult parents on key initiatives and policy around the continued development of Inclusion in Edinburgh.
We will be holding an information session for parents and carers to find out more on Wednesday, 27th May 1230 – 1300. Please see the flyer sent to all Head teachers for joining information. Please pass this on to parents/carers within your learning communities.
S1 Parents’ Evening – This is on 21st May at the School, booking details are sent to Families directly. If you have any questions email Admin@leith.edin.sch.uk
DWF Law work experience – We had a group of pupils involved in a work experience trip with our long term partners DWF Law. The pupils had a visit to Edinburgh Sheriff Court, and presentations from Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation. Bringing learning to life!
