Thank you for the Family support over last week’s cyber attack on Edinburgh Council. We were able to move quickly to support our young adults back into their notes on iPad / platforms via a password change. This work continued into this week and we were able to minimise disruption – it was a reminder of the importance of keeping our passwords safe / secure online.
Some further updates / points;
Holiday weekend – This weekend is the Victoria holiday weekend with a holiday on Monday. All staff and youngsters are back on Tuesday for an 8.30am start in uniform for the final 5 weeks.
Leith Hoodies – We are receiving many requests for how to purchase a Leith Hoodie, see the info below for ordering direct.
Rights for Children – Last year we gained our Rights Respecting Schools Silver award and we were advised to apply for Gold. This week we worked with some of our Primary School youngsters on themes relating to the Rights of All Children. Thanks to Mr Connor and others who helped make the ‘RRS Luncheon’ so successful again this year.
S1 Track 2 Reports – These are being finalised and will be with Families over the coming days. We look forward to our S1 Parents evening next week where we will provide some progress updates to Families on our young S1’s.
Pilrig Park Run – the Pilrig Park Junior Parkrun (open to children and young people aged 4-14) will host its first run on Sunday the 1st June at 9.30am. Here’s the website for more information:

It would be great to have as many people there as possible to get the run off to a good start. It will then take place every Sunday.
