This is a very busy upcoming term as we approach the assessments for S4,5,6. Some of these assessments are internal, in class and others are part of our Prelims, end of Nov. Our S3’s also begin to work / progress towards S4 level work as they prepare for the Senior Phase. We also have several important events across our calendar in the lead up to Christmas.

Some important points / updates below;

S4,5,6 Parents Eve – Our first Parents’ eves for Anderson and Barton House are next Thursday. Cowan and Port will follow soon. Attendance is important to discuss progress on what is going well and plan for what needs to be improved.

Leith Town of Culture 2028 – Leith is in the shortlist for this award, as a School we have been approached to support the bid, our young people are keen to contribute!

S4,5,6 Careers Events – We have an event this Tuesday, emails have been sent to Families directly with a superb range of employers. Please discuss with your young adult on how best to make use of the sessions next week, as they plan for steps beyond School.

Show Racism The Red Card – We raised awareness of this important theme across Leith today, DIVERSITY is one of our values that we are very proud of at Leith. Thanks to our School of Football players who developed resources and Mr Moffat for pulling things together. This is important every day, but today we shone a light on it across the School.

Clubs – As well as our sports clubs, see our super range of other clubs currently on offer, get signed up!

Well Being drop in service – See flyer with our partners the Education Wellbeing Service EWS. If you have any questions or concerns around well being, see info below or speak to someone at School.

Buckle up as storm season begins, have a good weekend.
