Welcome from the Easter holiday as we enter a busy summer term. Some information and key updates below;
Mobile phones – We will be moving to our ‘phone free learning’ position soon. Please continue to talk to your child about this and ensure they have their iPad charged and ready for learning in their school bag every day. Further details to come.
Class Charts – We are moving into a ‘pupil soft launch’ period with Class Charts on Monday. This is a system that helps us praise young people for the things they do well every day. Having the right equip, dressed appropriately in our simple uniform, being on time and being engaged in their learning are all factors that contribute. There is nothing for Families to do at this time as we (staff and pupils) are learning how the system works, we will update Families in the coming weeks with our full launch.
Inclusion feedback for Parents – The Council are taking views on how our schools and buildings can further support inclusion for all young people. To share views see the info in the poster.
Raising Teens Course – See info regarding courses in Leith to help support in raising teenagers.
National Boxing Success – Huge congratulations to young Kai Grant in S1. Over the Easter holiday he has become the Scottish Eastern District Open Class Champion. A great achievement that requires dedication, discipline and perseverance. Well done!

Have a good weekend with Sunshine on Leith.
