As we head into September after another busy and successful week, some key points are noted below;
Sports Club – Sign up is now open. All youngsters are encouraged to attend a club to help support well being and learning. See the PE Team to register your interest in our wide range of Sports.
We will release an update with all other clubs in due course. Keep an eye on our Pupil Bulletin which is emailed to Parents each week and read out to all pupils during Key Adult (register).
House points – Our first interhouse competition is complete with a great volleyball event last week. Results are;
1st Barton / 2nd Anderson / joint 3rd Port and Cowan – well done all!
China Immersion Trip – We had 5 youngsters on an immersion trip to China over the summer. They had an amazing experience from a travel / culture / language and history perspectives.
Parent Council – We held a very positive first meeting last night of our Parent Council. Clickview – This is a great resource we use widely at Leith. It draws on a huge bank of educational videos and clips with prompt questions that help contribute to high quality learning and teaching. See information for Parents if interested.
